Sale of a €11 card
Summary: importpokecoree sold cards via tracked mail, but they weren't scanned, causing problems with the buyer who is asking for a refund. He filed a claim with the post office with no progress and is looking for help to be covered by eBay. francexpressdeal advises following up with the post office and explains that eBay requires proof of delivery to cover the seller. They also suggest refunding the buyer to avoid a dispute and defects on the eBay account. A link to contact eBay is provided.

Mentor1 year agoHello @importpokecoree
for the post office, when you made your claim, you should have received an email with a response deadline. If that deadline has passed, follow up with them.
For eBay, the fact that you sent the letter does not protect you at all. What is absolutely necessary is proof of delivery. Which you therefore do not have.
If the estimated delivery date has passed and your buyer opens a dispute (you do not say whether that has already happened), they will be refunded by the site if you do not do it yourself. And on top of that, you will get a defect on your account because eBay had to step in. Not to mention the possible negative feedback, since from what you say, your buyer doesn't seem very understanding...
In your case and given the amount of the order, I would refund the buyer (but that is just my opinion).
