Summary: spongebob.13 ran into a problem when ending an eBay listing early, which resulted in a €6.50 fee. After speaking with an employee who couldn’t solve it, they were forced to recreate the listing, leading to the fee being charged twice. They’re looking for advice on how to get these fees refunded.

I clicked on the dropdown menu for my listing and clicked end listing early and sell to highest bidder but eBay ended the listing differently and took €6.50 in fees! I just spent 11 minutes on the phone with one of the employees who didn’t understand anything and kept repeating that I don’t have the right to do that, that I have to wait until the listing ends to sell!
I had to relist it and sell it again to the same person by asking them to make an offer at the price. So eBay took fees twice on the same sale.
Has anyone had the same problem and do you have a solution for getting these fees back?
