Forced sale
Summary: lytchee2012 received a ring that they didn’t order and informed the seller that they wanted to return it, but they’re running into discount offers. koalagris suggested checking the purchase history and the seller’s address for sending the return. *miss-tigri* reminded them that the seller must provide a return label and that no payment is needed if the purchase hasn’t been confirmed. lytchee2012 thanked everyone for the advice received.
Hello, I received a ring that I had not ordered and therefore had not paid for. I informed the seller that I did not want the ring and asked for a return address. The seller replied by trying to force me to buy the ring by offering a discount on its original price. I declined his new offer and confirmed to him that I did not want the ring. He told me that he was canceling the order he had recorded on his side, but he is still not answering me about the return procedure. I would like to know what I should do. I look forward to reading your replies. Kind regards

Mentor1 year agoHello
The seller must provide you with a return slip if he wants to get his item back ...
Under no circumstances can he force you to pay (neither for the item nor the return..)

Mentor1 year agoHello @lytchee2012
It's odd for a seller to ship an unpaid item...
Is this order in your purchase history?
Is their address not listed on the package? (or on their account, if they're a pro)
If it hasn't been paid for, there's no possible dispute on your side.
Best regards
