Hello I wanted to buy a steering wheel on eBay I paid the seller but he still hasn’t sent the package after more than a week then he contacted me telling me to pay a deposit via a link so it seems like a scam to me I want to cancel my order and get a refund but a message appears saying that I need to contact the seller to resolve the problem but he wants me to send him money through a link
Read the listing carefully because it's inevitably stated in the description: professional parts sellers often ask for a deposit before shipping the item purchased, simply because they have to take back the used part (which you'll therefore need to send them after receiving the new one in order to get the deposit back).

If the seller doesn’t want to cancel the transaction, wait until the delivery date has passed, then open a dispute for item not received.
