Theft of an order from my mailbox

I had my order stolen from my mailbox by forced entry on May 15, 2024. I contacted the seller (sent photos + theft report), and he told me he can't do anything. I don't know how to contact eBay customer service so they can help me. If someone can let me know!

You buy a car ....someone steals it from you ...are you going to blame the dealership?

The person responsible for the break-in and theft from your mailbox.... is .... the thief himself...

- no one else....

What are your seller and eBay doing in this mess...?

Check with your neighbors (for possible witness statements).. your co-owned property (if there is one...) .. file an official complaint with the police ... etc...

The matter is between you and your thief.

Why should the site, the carrier, or the seller be responsible for a burglary in your mailbox?

= check with your home insurance...

(same process as if the theft had taken place inside your home: would you contact the person who sold/delivered you the furniture or the TV to get compensated? 🤔)
