hello
as a self-employed person and only selling collectibles (tools, toys) on ebay, is it mandatory to use electronic invoicing or should I close my business account to switch to a personal one

all businesses subject to VAT must have an approved platform in order to be able to receive invoices on September 1.
So yes, this concerns you.
If you only sell to private individuals, you will be concerned starting on September 1 2027 by e-reporting.

As for closing your pro account to switch over as a private individual, that will be absolutely useless...
The fact that your business is still active will allow the tax authorities to check whether you are complying with the regulations.
