I'm stuck in the rather incomprehensible return process
Summary: clairdechat shares her frustrating experience of buying a book she thought was normal-sized, but which turned out to be tiny. She mentions that returning the product on the site is expensive and complicated, since she has to pay 14 euros for a return and doesn’t have an easy way to print the required label. lingma85 advises sending the book directly via a carrier and providing the tracking number for the return, while frelonverre suggests keeping the book as a reminder to act cautiously in the future. clairdechat thanks everyone for their responses.
Hello,
I bought a book whose photos could make it seem like a standard-sized book, with no information about the book's size in the description.
In the end, the book arrived and it is tiny. I still paid very dearly for it.
I immediately sent a message to the seller, and I followed the item return procedure. I checked the box "return because the item doesn't fit", but actually it is more "because the listing was misleading", which is not in the list.
So Ebay is asking me to go through a service that charges me 14 euros for returning a very small book that probably weighs 50 grams. On top of that, I have to print a shipping label and I don't have the ability to do that
I would have liked to go back, to open a dispute, but I don't have that option and the site is designed in such a way that it is impossible to communicate directly with a returns service.
I'm stuck. I don't know what to do anymore.
The seller isn't replying to me. My request is blocked. and the date when I will no longer be able to return the item is approaching.
What would you do in my place? thanks in advance for your help

Return your book by going directly through the carrier (Post office or other..)
fill out the shipping slip - pay and send...
You are not required to go through the site's shipping platform...
only requirement----> indicate the tracking number in the field provided for this purpose in your return request.
