A question for eBay sellers: how do you present an esoteric activity without losing its authenticity?
Summary: rituelinfo seeks advice on how to effectively present esoteric and spiritual rituals on eBay without losing the authenticity of the experience. They emphasize the importance of detailed descriptions that convey the intention and symbolism, rather than just listing keywords and prices. rituelinfo asks for input on what makes an eBay listing trustworthy, such as the number of evaluations, photo quality, account age, or the seller's presentation style, and is interested in insights from other sellers in niche markets.
Hello everyone,
I’ve been asking myself a question for some time about how to present a fairly specific kind of activity on eBay.
I’ve been working for several years in the world of rituals, esotericism, and spiritual practices. In my opinion, it’s an area that calls for a presentation different from a standard product, because the people interested in it are looking for both a clear explanation and a real world around what they discover.
On eBay, I find it especially interesting that the buyer can discover a shop, check the feedback, look at the different listings, and gradually get a sense of how serious the seller is.
As for me, I use the account rituelinfo, with listings focused in particular on rituals, spirituality, magic, and the different esoteric traditions. I mainly try to work on the descriptions to explain the intention of the ritual, its symbolism, and the approach offered, rather than simply putting a few keywords and a price.
I also think this is a real challenge on eBay: how do you make a very specialized world known without falling into an overly commercial presentation?
Personally, I think a good listing should tell a story. The title should make the subject immediately clear, while the description can provide more context and answer the questions a buyer might have.
In esotericism, this approach seems even more important to me. Someone looking for a protection ritual, a money ritual, a ritual linked to luck, prosperity, or a particular spiritual practice is not necessarily looking for the same thing as someone buying a traditional object.
So I’m curious to hear your thoughts: for you, what makes an eBay listing inspire trust?
Is it the number of feedback ratings, the quality of the photos, the description, how long the account has existed, the precision of the information, or simply the way the seller presents their activity?
I think it would be interesting to discuss this, especially with sellers who also work in niche fields.
Looking forward to reading your experiences and advice.

I'm afraid you won't get a satisfactory answer here...
But do your activity simply and honestly and everything will be fine.
Kind regards
