A.M.R.A. pin badge insigne identification
Summary: lemarcheaupuces shared an image of a badge with the inscription A.M.R.A., looking for information about its origin. *miss-tigri* provided a helpful lead that lemarcheaupuces appreciated. pannim4 suggested that the symbol could be associated with war wounded or with the Association des Mutilés et Réformés Ascendants, a dissolved organization. They also mentioned that 'amra' could mean 'love' in several languages.
Hello...
Here is a pin, badge marked A.M.R.A.
I searched on Google Images, eBay, the web and found nothing.
The red star often appears on Soviet badges and unsuccessfully in this category as well;
any info would be appreciated.
Thanks and have a nice day.
