I am working on a collection of electricity meters, with the goal of showing the different metering devices from the countries of our planet.
My project is a world map with these on display, because electricity is like music, "Universal"
Would you have any ideas for collecting or buying them, with our globalization, is that possible...(Nothing is Impossible, it's a question of Willpower)

·2 years agoGood evening or : buyback of your meter for scrap dealer at a good price; there are addresses, if everything hasn't been recycled into copper coils or household appliances, hang in there

I don't know much about it, but I'd be surprised if you found that on online sales sites. Then again.... With the right search terms...
But your idea is pretty nice. If I were you, I'd first try contacting people in the trade. First associations. I know that railway workers have clubs for "old hands" or train enthusiasts. Maybe there's something similar on the EDF side too. And maybe they'll have ideas...
Then, I'd try telling my story to organizations that can understand you. I'm thinking of arts and crafts, the "maison du compagnonnage"...... If only to get the vocabulary that will let you "dig through" online sales sites. How do you say "meter" in America or in China ??? I have no idea. But they... probably do...
Finally, I'd go to the recyclers, like Emmaus. They may have it, without even knowing it.... And contacts with others around the world....

my words are Dare Collect Instruct, so I want and I already have many

I wasn't sending you back to school to learn what you probably know better than I do, but to "make do".
And leave your 82 years in the corner: there is no age for being young. It was a very old person who taught me that, when I was fifteen....

Would you rather advise me, instead of criticizing me, I am 82 years old and I work to build my collection and I still buy, to create a Museum of Electrical Energy in Vendée.
I don't have the computer knowledge that you younger people have.

No computer knowledge needed, it's just a matter of memory.
