buyer **bleep**
Summary: betticat1 shared a bad experience with a buyer who damaged a brand-new document and then asked for a refund and a return on eBay. Despite the seller initially refusing the return, eBay accepted the buyer's request, and betticat1 had to refund 80 euros without ever receiving the document back. crocoretro responded by sharing a similar experience where eBay also backed the buyer unfairly, saying that this issue seems to be specific to eBay compared with other selling sites.
beware of this buyer.
he buys me a document in mint condition, never opened or viewed.
upon receipt, he damages it and then files a return request with ebay.
I refused the return, but ebay forced me to accept it, refund him in full, and send him a return label.
I contacted ebay, because that wasn't what I wanted. the person's response: we'll handle it when the return is received and the document's actual condition.
25 days later, still nothing received.
I contact the buyer to simply ask whether he actually sent it back.
response, negative feedback !!!
I contact ebay right away, response: you refunded, we can't do anything for you anymore !!!
they're
THIEVES !!!
SCAMMERS !!!
it's more than 80 euros that this buyer has stolen from me, with ebay's blessing !
I've been on the site for more than 20 years, it's the first time I've seen this.
I'm seriously thinking about never selling on this M site again !
since sellers no longer have the ability to report a dishonest buyer via feedback (neutral or negative), it's a steady decline.
the buyer is KING, and the seller is automatically GUILTY !
it's an ORGANIZED SCAM !!

·1 year agoI understand you... I had a bad experience with a scam buyer and eBay absolutely did not protect me, they sided with him on everything and he even left me negative feedback that eBay considered normal... It's completely different on other selling sites, I've only seen this here!
