When I installed the eBay app, I was asked to take a selfie and photograph my residence permit front and back
Is it really eBay behind this, is it really secure? If not, is there any risk?
Also, I’m receiving 2 offers from 2 buyers who signed up at the same time as me

They have never bought or sold anything on eBay and they unsubscribed a few hours later

An item of high value will attract quite a few people with bad intentions, so be extremely careful and do not respond to any requests by email .Only communicate through eBay messaging.
