Fake 50 Franc Hercule silver coins
Hello everyone.
For several weeks now, a seller has been putting Chinese copy pieces silver-plated up for sale, listing them as “silver.” He keeps posting and relisting his ads at prices below market value.
Recognizing these copies is fairly easy, but there are always some unsuspecting buyers.
How can this scam be stopped?

Good luck with this hunt.... but it’s going to become time-consuming ..
The best thing would be for bargain hunters to realize they’re buying junk... then maybe there will be fewer fakes... but I’m afraid that’s wishful thinking...

I reported the listing, and ebay just replied to me saying it had been removed.
I had sent the photos proving it.
So good to know, we need to keep the pressure on these scammers...

·4 months agoI wanted to reply to laisselecoyotte, I had done it on my side on other listings, but it’s usually the AI that responds and it slips through the cracks, we need a simpler system so the community can get rid of these parasites
