After resetting the browser (deleting history, updating it, or using ccleaner), I can no longer log back in to ebay.
I enter my username and then my password; and then I’m asked to type in the security code sent by SMS to my mobile phone.
But I receive nothing.
I have to change my password every time.

nb: It would be good to choose to receive the security code either on the mobile phone or in one's email

- You may be dealing with a temporary bug and will need to try again later.
- You can contact customer service with your current username and ask them for the reason for the malfunction on the inaccessible account.
- From what I understand, the procedure suggested is not only for a change of phone number but also for all types of problems where access to the account is impossible
