messaging
Hello, it’s impossible to write and then send a message after " other questions " to the seller.
Every time, a window about Ebay's terms and conditions opens, impossible to write even though at the bottom the command " send message " exists but doesn’t work !!???
Thank you

·1 year agoHello,
I’ve had the same problem as you for a week too.
A call from Ebay after I reported the malfunction, but NOTHING from technical support and the outage is still ongoing.
What did EBAY do to resolve your messaging outage? And after how long?
Kind regards.

·1 year agoGood evening @cyr8085
There are several ways to contact an eBay member. Are you having a problem sending a message all the time, or only when following the procedure given by @jeanjacques5168 ?

·1 year agoAlso, if I go to the page of the seller(s) (there you can read all the reviews among other things) the messaging that then opens encounters the same problem as described above.
Do you have a solution that works very well? Thanks in advance.Best regards.CYR8085 (9/01/2025)

if no method of contacting a member works, there is nothing else to do except follow up with customer service about it.

·1 year agoit's done and even redone, but Ebay isn't responding anymore. So what should I do? Best regards. CYR8085 (9/01/2025)

@frelonverre
That doesn’t work, the two messaging systems are independent and your reply of September 23, 2024 on this same thread is completely correct. We’re limited in the number of DMs
However, if the seller provides an email address, we can contact them with it...There, it’s certain that it works.

I know, my friend, I tried, but by clicking on a seller's username you get contact us and from there you have three choices, you fill in a box with the item number and you send it
he only has this option or to choose another seller

·1 year agoAh yes, that's right, there is that possibility.
Actually, if he asks his question with another object than the one in question, they can discuss for longer.
Is that what you mean?

·1 year agoOh no, I didn't understand, ...I'm doing the test, I don't know this technique.😎

·1 year agoAh yes, okay, that works. I didn't know that.
When I buy, I know what I want and it's rare that I ask the seller for anything. So I rarely use the feature. And when, when it's fuzzy, there's a wolf.
Otherwise, if it really doesn't work, by asking the question with another listing (provided they have more than one...) it can make the conversation last longer in the case you describe above concerning the number of PMs...

you are allowed to send a limited number of messages within a given period of time; this limit has to be exceeded
