Buyer located in Indonesia, requesting shipment to Europe
Summary: paulo_62141 expresses concerns about Indonesian buyers on eBay who request shipments to Europe, raising suspicion after a bad delivery experience. lingma85 advises restricting shipping countries on the platform. paulo_62141 ultimately decides to block international sales after an unsuccessful attempt to negotiate with a buyer.
Hello.
It had been a while since I’d sold on eBay, and I’m a bit surprised...
So here’s the question: I’m getting a bit swamped with requests from Indonesian buyers (several, but in my opinion the same person under different usernames, or the same "company") who are proposing that I ship to Europe, so not to the address of their location. And I’ve become a bit wary after an item I sold and shipped to the Czech Republic never arrived because of an incorrect address, so the package came back to me, with the shipping costs on me, of course.
Question: what do you think? Maybe I’m being too suspicious but well...

There's no such thing as too much caution....
You have the option to sort the countries where you accept to ship... (and eliminate the others).... See here-->Set delivery options | eBay
Kind regards

It seems there are a few teams of "hard-nosed negotiators". The rest of the story is that the guy gives me an address in the Netherlands, we agree on a price, I tell him to make an offer at that price, and he makes one... Much lower.
I blocked the international sale...
