Having changed my mobile phone number, I can no longer log in to my account... and it's impossible to contact anyone at Ebay.
Do you have a solution?

In this situation, it will necessarily have to be a phone call.
Because by email we will not be able to verify your identity and we will therefore not be able to make the change to the phone number.
Indeed, this is the account impersonation procedure, because it is the only way to be called by an eBay agent without being able to log in.

I’d like to jump in on this reply about another issue
my friend can’t log into her account and, of course, can’t be called back, her account hasn’t been hacked, she already had this bug about two months ago
so we opened the account I’m posting this message with so she could be called back and so support could fix this problem, but it’s a pain because it makes the eBay representative suspicious
It would be nice to add an option on eBay for this kind of problem so that people affected by this kind of issue could be called back without needing to log in

If you have a VPN, disable it. That could help.
The VPN can conflict with the PHP code that handles signing into your account but only if you're on a computer.
Personally, since I don't use my mobile for browsing the internet, I can't help you, but there is a small chance that it might still work.
If you have an anti-virus, grant all exception permissions for Ebay.
Same for the firewall.

·2 years agoThanks, but I completely switched accounts. Could you also tell me whether it's possible to get items paid for via Paypal? I didn't see anything about this, so I put the possibility in the item description.

"is it possible to have items paid for via PayPal" = no, all payments go through ebay, which only transfers the funds to the seller only by bank transfer.
The buyer can use paypal, but they will pay on ebay's paypal (not on the seller's, and any request in that regard amounts to an off-site sale, and is therefore against the terms of service).
