Declare revenue on the amount BEFORE or AFTER deducting fees?
Summary: retro.lemon.official asks for advice on declaring turnover (CA) for their self-employed activity, specifically whether the CA should include or exclude eBay fees. lingma85 replies, clarifying that the CA must include the total sale price paid by the buyer, without deducting fees, which satisfies retro.lemon.official.
Hello everyone!
I'm getting started with self-employment and I'm switching my account to pro, and I had a question about declaring turnover!
- Does turnover correspond to the amount of sales before deducting eBay fees?
OR
- Does turnover correspond to the total pre-tax amount of sales that appears on the monthly statement that eBay provides us, that is, after deducting eBay fees?
Thanks a lot for your help! 😀

Revenue as a self-employed person... when it consists of online sales, it is made up of the sale price + shipping costs... with no deductions whatsoever...
In short.. revenue is equal to the amount paid by the buyer...
Kind regards
