As @francexpressdeal says, it is possible to make a request to change the rating to your buyer. However, if they do not respond, it would indeed be useless.
I still think you can try the request for a rating change through eBay, because if I’m not mistaken, eBay will also send this request to the buyer’s personal email, an email address you do not have access to.
You have a better chance of your buyer reading the request if it comes from eBay, because it is likely that they will read emails in their personal inbox, even if they do not log in to their eBay account very often.

the problem is that if your buyer doesn't respond, they won't follow up on a request to modify a review.
First, reply to this review to explain the situation.
Then contact customer service to explain the problem to them. Since the review talks about a book on an item that is a dish, they may agree to remove it since the mistake is obvious. (I did say "may" ...)
