Hello everyone, I have a question: it’s been a month since I bought a parcel, which I decided to cancel almost right away because it would have been delivered to me between the end of March and the end of May, which didn’t work for me and which I hadn’t noticed beforehand. I tried to cancel the purchase on Ebay, which I think gave the seller 5 days to see whether they had sent the item (which was impossible given how quickly I tried to cancel). During that time, I contacted the seller myself, who basically told me, "no worries, I’ll cancel it and refund you," but the days went by and nothing... In the end, after the 5 days, according to Ebay, it’s impossible to cancel the sale and I might as well not exist, they don’t check in (I was advised to have them call me back, but I really don’t like the phone). I contacted the seller again, several times, and they basically told me "I did the right thing by contacting them, that they would see what was going on and do what was necessary, and that I had to wait 2 working days"... except I got that message several times over the weeks. And recently, it seems that "there is a problem with their backend system" and they’re asking me to provide my Paypal address to sort it out, but I don’t trust them at all. Am I at risk of anything? They have 99% positive feedback, but does that mean they’re reliable? After the month that’s just gone by, for me, not at all. What do you think?
