eBay fees even though there are no fees for two weeks.
So I just saw in my sales that some eBay fees were applied even though I had clicked the "activate the offer" button.
Right now there are zero fees on eBay (apart from the €0.35 fee that applies)
Can anyone help me with this and let me know if I'm the only one in this situation.
Thanks in advance.

·8 months agoHello,
Exactly the same situation as you;
Customer service sent me on a wild goose chase => you didn't activate the promo!
Oh sure => It's just a scam

·8 months agoyes easy to trap customers, I've been on ebay for years and there I got really scammed, because I had done everything as usual, they tell me they don't know who sent these promo emails, false and completely false, these emails definitely came from them, I have proof of it

and if you asked the only people capable of explaining it to you, that is to say customer service

·9 months agoCheck that the offer conditions were properly met:

And if that is indeed the case, check with customer service.

·9 months agoHello, if this is about the 0% offer until 8/1 with 0.35e, I just called eBay because on top of that I was charged normally. I went through the message received on the 26th offering me the promo deal, as I do when eBay offers me a fee reduction. They explain to me that I should not have gone through there, (news to me, it just came out without the customer being informed, me who in complete trust validated the offer in the email as before) and that my complaint is inadmissible.
I don't know if you are in the same situation.
As an old and loyal EBAY customer, I am very disappointed with the response given.

- same customer service explanation: " I should not have gone through the link in the message I received to activate the offer !
I have always found the idea of having to "activate" an offer strange but I understand the idea now: it allows eBay to have more seller offers that will be extorted 10% in fees !
eBay as a seller is over for me

·8 months agoyeah that's it, total scam, you supposedly sell without fees and they charge you 10%
and they don't even respond to your dispute, I'm close to filing a fraud complaint

okay but the point is to sell and you would have put those items on sale anyway, promo or not
