Customer service doesn't understand French
On multiple occasions I asked for the closure of an account I no longer have access to, because of account protection, nothing has come of it, Nobody gives a damn! they don’t even respect buyers, eBay is nothing but a shadow of itself anymore!!! all talk and no action! it understands nothing, or it doesn’t want to understand!!!

·1 year agoFor obvious reasons, we can't ask for the closure of a third-party account; that would be a source of abuse.
So the first thing to do is follow the procedure in case of a login problem:

OP1 year agothanks for your common sense, customer service called me back 3 times, the procedures were done, redone, I asked for a solution so I could prove my identity, without having to take an IT BTS, a postal address, a contact person, I send a photocopy of my ID and proof of address, but that's too simple, thanks

don't think that closing an eBay account is simple or quick
count on 6 months once they've realized that you don't owe anything, basically once all possibilities for disputes are closed

Listening to you, you’d think ebay should agree to close an account on the sole pretext that you no longer have access to it? 🤔
If you can’t see the abuse this could lead to, luckily ebay can!
Now, get to the root of your problem: take the steps to access that account again and follow the closure procedure.
