A difference of opinion emerges regarding acceptance of these sites’ terms, with exchanges that are sometimes tense about politeness and spelling.
Hello everyone
I’m here to share my experience as a seller over the past few months.
I’ve been using this site for 20 years as both a buyer and seller and I find the current regulations very complex and too favorable to buyers.
Taking 4 days to pay for an item, with encouragement to send it even if it hasn’t been paid for ...
Reply: not to pay for an item: “My son made 1 mistake ..” with no apology, nothing. No warning for the buyer.
At first (not knowing the complexities of the rules very well) I wanted to cancel the sale and damn, I end up with a negative review. The shipping platform has improved but still, for a Colissimo, we end up going through Spain.
The Ebay display is not the same between the mobile app and the PC version, which can lead to mistakes.
Ebay does not take your feedback into account and the Help section clearly needs improving.
Do you share my opinion? Looking forward to exchanging with you. 😊

" Because of unpleasant people, it's not encouraging to go on this site"
...........................
Le Bescherelle Ok ... But what does it mean ===> " ça n'egage " ? 🤔

Bescherelle isn't bad for agreement, conjugation, and all that. But for standard spelling, it's better to use Littré. It's more complete. And for participles, a huge topic, the best thing is Maurice Rat's books. For feedback (pronounced fidebaque), the correct spelling in French is "retour".
Best regards.

·1 year agoHello, @frelonverre
I really like Laure Thograf. She’s a cool girl who gets angry when people use her with acrimony as an argument. I especially like the moment when she has Martine say, "Hey, who here is talking about offending grandma or grandpa??" Then the room laughs. And it’s not Martine...
Hugs.

·1 year agoBetween the sales surcharges and the wait for payments, this site is horrible. I sold only once on it and it will be the last time: out of €100 in sales I receive €83.03, not counting the €10 in fees paid out of my own pocket. The buyer received the package on the 12th and I have to wait until the 26th for my payment.
A sales site to avoid, just like Rakuten!

you were aware of all that since you accepted these constraints by reading the T&Cs before putting things up for sale
as for the 10 euros in fees, you must have told me to go... somewhere
as for having to wait to receive your money, that's part of the deal for all new sellers
@marinacoeur
this comparison can't exist since a site will be good for some and crap for others, all depending on the items put up for sale
when you can no longer put up with a site's hassles, you leave it

Do you agree with me?
not really, as you can imagine
How many years of eBay experience does it take to come up with this nonsense?
far too much, sure, to sell on the net; not much as a buyer, but as a seller, way too much
You’re being paid by them, no doubt!!
why, because I don’t add my own woes to the general misery on the forum or on this site, what would be the point
One last point: buy a grammar book
I’m sorry my mistakes bother you, sometimes it slips past me
on the other hand, this phrase still holds true: when you can no longer stand the hassles of a site, you leave it

·3 years agoHello
I don't sell here anymore since the change to payments and I don't regret it , it's become way too complicated, especially with bugs nonstop. I used to love Ebay back then, not anymore and as you say, buyers, especially the dishonest ones, are having a field day Ebay does nothing about it and too bad for the sellers who sometimes refund and lose the item sold. So good luck and all the best to those who stay.
Best regards

·3 years agoHello, and yes, the buyer is king. Even dishonest buyers are king (fortunately, there are few of them, but there are some). eBay once replied to me that a seller must always expect losses from time to time. Anyway. But eBay, as long as the buyer is very protected, remains nevertheless a very attractive platform compared to other platforms I have tried. site **bleep** or **bleep**, where the buyer is also protected, I think there are more dishonest buyers who take advantage of the system. Best of luck.

·1 year agoI bought a mushroom lamp in glass paste and paid extra for fast shipping, today it has been 18 days since I've been waiting for this lamp, so I asked the seller to refund me and I don't understand why ebay refuses to refund me, when on the **bleep** after 3 days if there's no shipment, the sale is void
