why does eBay charge seller fees on the import tax paid by the buyer???

could someone be able to shed some light for me.

on the import fees related to the buyer, for an international sale.

because eBay is charging me as the seller for this Tax, based on the final value fee???

But as you so rightly say:"that is not the point"

Regarding eBay fees, I sent you the help page simply to try to make you understand that it’s just their way of calculating it.

Everything is done to inflate the commission amount as much as possible. From there, it’s up to you to see whether eBay is still suited to your business.
