Problem displaying forum images
Summary: tytan-d2-71 is having an image display problem on eBay forums, despite trying different browsers. frelonverre suggests that the display issue may be linked to eBay membership status, explaining that with enough activity, it would resolve itself. red71-2011 thinks a system or graphics card update may be needed, while another participant recommends checking the cache and cookies. tytan-d2-71 is willing to wait and see whether being a member makes a difference and thanks the participants for their help.
Hello everyone,
I’ve had a small problem for several weeks now, regarding the display of images on the various eBay forums.
(I’m not registered on any other forums, elsewhere on the web)
The photos don’t appear. I tried other browsers such as Chrome, Explorer and Tor, no better. I looked through each one’s settings, I couldn’t find anything about displaying photos.
On the web, well, nothing there either apart maybe from some vague story about a corrupted browser but I don’t know how to fix the problem.
Would anyone have an idea of what I should look into? 🤔
I have to step away...going to cut some wood...I’ll be back later...
Thanks 🙂

@tytan-d2-71
If you can’t insert a photo on the forum,
upload the photo to an image host and use the "insert a link" function
best regards

OP1 year ago@felin12 , Hello,
It’s not so much posting images that’s the problem for me, but rather seeing the images or photos of the other people participating in their posts.
I went to check in the section " le coin des collectionneurs " and I can’t see the other participants’ photos.
Putting a link through an image host, I know how to do, but seeing the photos of others, I don’t know why or how to fix it.
I’ll follow Frelonverre’s advice in the meantime, hoping that’s what it’s about.
Thanks anyway

·1 year agoHello tytan-d2-71,
After a quick check, I can confirm that you shouldn't have any trouble seeing the forum images.
Have you cleared your cache and cookies? If not, could you try with another browser?
Regards.

Hello to you all,
For now I still don't see the photos of the other participants, but since I only just reconnected after my post, it's normal that my situation hasn't changed yet.
I'll see over time whether that changes and, if so, I would consider Frelonverre's solution to be the best one.
Thanks anyway for your reply.

·1 year agoHi Tytan,
Personally, I would have bet on an update for your graphics card or that your Windows is too old.
We should test it on another forum to see whether it works or not.
" I tried with ...Chrome, Explorer and Tor "
So the problem doesn’t come from the browser you’re using, since the problem doesn’t change no matter which browser is used.
After Frelonvert’s idea, why not... I hadn’t even noticed that difference. 😅
