Dispute resolution during an absence
attention, dear sellers, never be absent, a buyer opened a dispute for non-receipt of their order, they open a dispute, I am away (absence noted on the eBay site) eBay asks for proof of shipment that I cannot provide since I am away. And they close the dispute during the absence (just a few days) the buyer receives their order right after. And of course eBay is always right.

AI is an unflappable machine (and a hellish one...) that doesn’t care about holidays, illness, etc... which can affect the management of an account...
Dead set on deadlines.. if they aren’t met...=... it’s the axe falling... or the application of the saying that "the absent are always wrong.."

OP3 weeks agoI contested it, always the same response: the proof wasn’t provided within the deadline. To my question of whether it’s normal to settle things while someone is absent, the answer was my contact hung up on me (I was always polite)
