Reply to a forum message
Hello everyone,
I don't come to this forum very often, and my question will no doubt surprise some members.
I wanted to reply a moment ago to a message posted two days ago by a member, but I couldn't find anywhere on the screen to click, like "reply to this message". Do you need a special subscription? Thanks for your help.

if you want to reply to me you can but if you're elsewhere than on the discussion forum you can't, for that you have to be a "mentor"
which I'm not, so like you I stay on discussion

OP1 year agoHello frelonverre,
I don't know what a "mentor" is in this context. I just wanted to provide an answer that might help a member who has a problem that I know the answer to. But I'm probably not a "mentor"?

help from the community mentors
if someone asks a question in this paragraph, to answer it you must be a mentor, that is to say be part of the elite responders

OP1 year agoYes, I’m not part of Ebay’s “elite responders,” I don’t go on the forum very often, but I don’t intend to make it my main activity, or to win the little trinket for best this or that.
My only intention was to help a member with a question that doesn’t seem to have been answered.
That said, I understand that Ebay wants to select those who are allowed to chime in; otherwise, the comments could quickly get rude, just look at what happens on some social networks.
Best regards,

don’t worry our moderators watch over our peace of mind
they leave us this paltry portion to have fun with

OP1 year agoThat's what I did; but I regret that I can't share my experience with the community on a topic that unfortunately concerns other people. I say "unfortunately" because this is a fairly common case of fraud.

I got a notification for this post about ten days ago 😅
... that I’m only looking at now, but in response to it, you can always create a topic so that your info benefits everyone, if it’s not going to benefit the person concerned.
