SELLER: FUNDS BLOCKED ON FALLACIOUS PRETENSES
Summary: piwi_fr expresses frustration with eBay's rules, accusing the platform of unfairly blocking his funds and requiring delivery without payment. He has chosen to remove his listings, representing more than 20,000 euros. Several participants, including koalagris, lingma85, and nareio, advise piwi_fr to contact eBay customer service directly, emphasizing that the forum is not the appropriate place to resolve this type of issue. They point out the difference between a user forum and the company's services. The exchanges include attempts to clarify the rules and recommendations for further steps.
Thank you for your reply
unfortunately it brings nothing
YOU DECREE AND YOU WANT ME TO DELIVER WITHOUT BEING PAID
thanks to a new rule that you arbitrarily impose on me
this after the positive and confirmed verification of my accounts..
you have no consideration, fine, I take note of it
you subject me to unacceptable rules
you block my funds with fallacious arguments
in no case are you either sure or guarantors
I have deleted all my current sales
and you will suffer the loss of income on the more than 20000 euros that I intended to put up for sale
(I am retired and liquidating professional equipment..commissions on my sales = your salaries)
sorry, check, you are losing a good paying customer
best regards

·2 years agoHello, Sir (or Madam) @piwi_fr
You need to sort this out with e-bay’s services. Not with us, who are only participants in a FORUM.
I’m surprised that after so many years of using the site, you still don’t know the difference between the "SERVICES" (whose moderators are employees or robots) and a "FORUM", which is a space made available by a site for its users (sellers, buyers, subscribers... depending on the case), so that they can help each other and express themselves freely and for free, provided they respect their interlocutors and any readers.
So it is free of charge that I make this little vocabulary reminder available to everyone.
Have a good day everyone.

·2 years agoHello @piwi_fr
First of all, you should familiarize yourself with the site rules regarding your complaint before anything else-->
Blocked payments | eBay
You will see there that--->
Given your very limited activity as a seller (your last feedback dating back over 1 year..) makes you a seller affected by the paragraph above...
It would seem that you took this measure personally, forgetting that the site is heavily computerized (and it is true that it is not always a good idea to trust bots...) forgetting that you are just a number among thousands of others...
On the other hand, you write this-------> "you will suffer the loss of earnings on the more than 20,000 euros that I intended to put up for sale"
forgetting, there too... that turnover is determined by payments actually completed and not intentions to list items for sale... and that this threat can only have little impact.
You say you are retired...
- so, you should have a bit of perspective on a lot of things or events and also have some experience with self-control...
Pull yourself together.... master the site's terms of use and avoid getting yourself all worked up over this (speaking of your disappointment/anger at a directive that you implicitly accepted by posting your listings on the site...)
Best regards

OP2 years agogood evening
I'm past the age of having to put up with your remarks
your responses are representative of how little regard you have for your customers
it's a fact your commissions = your salaries.. the rest is just hot air
your mockery in private emails won't change anything and at best discredit you
I'm informing you and apparently I was perfectly understood.

"your mockery in private email won't change anything and at best discredits you"
Don't confuse your wishes with reality...
"I'm slamming the door
enough is enough" (in a message to @koalagris )
If this is a formal decision ... act quickly...
Have a good evening

I'm too old to put up with your remarks
and for us to get an earful from some bitter person who doesn't know how to address the right place: your replies are representative of how little regard you have for your customers
sorry, we didn't sell you anything, so you are not part of "our customers"
as for this: I inform, and clearly I was perfectly understood. you inform and interest no one

Good evening anyway...
You’re here on a user forum, it’s your very first post, and we know NOTHING about your troubles.
Address your complaints to customer service:
