Hello, how and on what fair criteria does eBay charge its fees internationally? And why can't we benefit from combined shipping? Personally, I find that more than excessive.!!

@abbe2997
and why can’t we benefit from a group shipment
For the GSP in 2014 (it’s clear and obvious)
In 2023 (it’s a bit vague)

Maybe a solution:
Before buying, ask your seller if they can make you a listing with all the items you want
best regards

" how and according to what fair criteria does ebay charge its fees internationally? "
you are a buyer so the fees are determined either by the seller (shipping fees) or by the regulations in force (import VAT + customs fees).
You bought from an American seller. So you have customs fees + import VAT. It will be the same for any other sales site.
" why can't we benefit from combined shipping "
If you're talking about a discount on shipping fees for multiple purchases, not all sellers offer it. It's up to you to check BEFORE buying.

OP3 years ago@francexpressdeal , I partly accept your answer. Regarding combined shipping so as to benefit from reduced shipping costs, the seller says, and he’s not the first, that he doesn’t have the power to intervene on that! And it’s eBay that sets those rates, so it’s all profit. Nice find for eBay to keep lining its pockets!!

·3 years agoHello ,
your seller is telling you nonsense .
Sellers set the delivery charges and can offer grouped delivery if they want .
Look for another seller !
Best regards.

OP3 years ago@madelodie , are you sure about what you're saying? several American sellers, in particular, have told me that they don't have the ability to do that!! so it's a conspiracy then .......?

OP3 years agoit's like for the French I think, they have the knack for doing group delivery but only within the country...

·3 years agoHello,
Sellers who go through GSP indeed don't have the ability to apply combined shipping fees.

False ... I offer discounts on shipping costs for multiple purchases, and it works perfectly whether it's for domestic or international sales.

the answer has already been given to you, but in any case not all sellers combine shipping costs, that's their right, they protect themselves this way from the unscrupulous

OP3 years ago@frelonverre yes yes , I agree . it's just that we got to the point of asking ourselves the question ? do they have that freedom or not....?
