Parcel sent without tracking but by registered Colissimo
Hello,
I bought a product for over €400 and the seller sent it by registered Colissimo but without tracking, even though I had paid €15 in shipping fees, I was expecting to at least get a tracking number...
Should I report it directly to eBay? Could this situation cause problems, and if so, what kind?
Thanks in advance

OP1 year agoThe seller is telling me that the package will leave on Monday because the post office was going to close when he dropped it off this morning, does that seem okay to you? (I haven't encountered this situation yet so I don't know how it works...)
Thanks

this condescension is just a polite way of expressing what I think
as for Besides, you haven’t sold a single item, your lack of knowledge of the site leads you to think I’m a newbie, so know that back in the day you could have 8 eBay accounts linked to one PayPal account and that the moderators themselves encouraged us to have a special forum eBay account so as not to be targeted by all the posters unhappy with our replies and looking for revenge, trying to “sink” our sales
so try to understand the site’s ups and downs before making statements

what you post online becomes public domain and everyone is free to reply whatever they want without actually providing anything concrete to a question
well, let’s debate your question:
For now the seller isn’t responding, but the situation is as of today
think about it a bit, if the seller told you he sent it by registered mail, there is necessarily a tracking number, even if he forgot to put the number in the transaction that is still possible and the fact that you seem nervous about it makes me inclined to be condescending toward you
I suppose you paid via ebay (still need to know whether what you bought is covered by ebay’s guarantee) and well, once the expected delivery date in the listing is past, if you still haven’t received anything you will open a dispute to get refunded
stop freaking out

·1 year agoGood evening @meu064
Colissimo without tracking doesn't exist (and even less as registered mail!).
You'll have to wait until the delivery deadline has passed, after which, if applicable, you can open a dispute for item not received.

So according to you the seller didn't send the item?
He has 100% positive feedback over more than 200 sales..

"Should I report it directly to eBay?"
I suppose you’ve already contacted the seller... So, what did he tell you?

for me, it's just that your seller didn't enter the tracking number.
That happens, and in that case the mention "without tracking" appears in the order details.
Wait for your seller's response.
