when a buyer has had to pay import VAT, an IOSS number is clearly mentioned in the address, which therefore indicates that the buyer has indeed paid the VAT.
All the sellers simply have to do is include it on their shipment. But for some, that apparently is too much to ask, and they don't note it ...
So it often happens that this VAT is charged twice (by eBay + the carrier)
Ebay is already doing its job since it communicates the IOSS number. So leaving negative reviews on the app will absolutely not serve any purpose ...
The only thing you can do is make sure to remind your seller to indicate the IOSS on the shipment.
