Send multiple purchases from the same buyer in the same package
Summary: tidjy.k has a buyer who made two separate purchases and wants to combine the orders into a single shipment via Mondial Relay. francexpressdeal explained that it is impossible to combine orders after payment, but assured that it is possible to use the same tracking number for both orders on eBay, as long as the buyer’s username is the same. tidjy.k was concerned about possible rejections of the tracking number for the second order, but francexpressdeal confirmed that this would not be a problem.
Hello,
I have a buyer who made an immediate purchase. Then he realized that a second purchase might interest him among my products. Since he had already made a first purchase, I offered to give him free shipping on his second purchase and then see whether I could combine his 2 purchases into a single Mondial Relay parcel. He therefore made 2 separate payments one after the other, and so 2 orders.
You can probably guess my question: How do you combine 2 eBay orders to get a single tracking number (Mondial Relay in this context)?
I've looked everywhere and I haven't found anything about whether this is possible, even though it used to be at one time.

You cannot group the 2 orders once payment has been made. In any case, in this situation it is unnecessary.
Once you have the Mondial Relay tracking number, you will be able to enter it on ebay for each order.
However, it is imperative that your buyer's username be the same for both orders.

OP1 year agoIn my case, I can confirm it's the same buyer, same username. But in some discussions I've seen that sometimes the tracking number was rejected by the eBay system for the 2nd order if it was already used.

the tracking number will not be rejected if your buyer's username is the same.
I run into this case quite often, and there is no problem entering the same tracking number for 2 separate orders from the same buyer.
