Unable to select a shipping address

It鈥檚 insane, but I can鈥檛 choose where I receive my purchase. Only once I鈥檝e paid am I told that the package is going to be sent somewhere in Brittany, to an old vacation address.

So I canceled my purchase, changed my main address in my profile by following ULTRA COMPLICATED tutorials for something ULTRA BASIC. I ordered again. And BANG, same thing!!! It tells me it鈥檚 going to be sent to Brittany, even though I live in Nice.聽

I don鈥檛 know what kind of people run this site in the end. How is it imaginable that we struggle to choose a delivery address?? It鈥檚 literally eBay鈥檚 basic function: pay / receive.

OP1 year agoThe seller managed to change the address, and all of that thanks to my cunning mind and my ability to navigate their digital labyrinth skillfully. Seriously, eBay, if you come across this message, raise an eyebrow, do something! I have friends who have already abandoned your platform for less than that. We鈥檙e still talking about choosing a delivery address, not launching a rocket to Mars, right?聽Honestly, in 2024, not being able to change your address easily on an online shopping platform is like trying to make coffee without water.

OP1 year agoUnfortunately, I already accessed this page to change my primary address. Although this change was made yesterday, it wasn鈥檛 taken into account when I renewed my order this morning. I鈥檓 not going to cancel the purchase of the coveted item a second time, so I contacted the seller hoping they would take my actual address into account. However, I doubt they鈥檒l be able to do anything if the shipping label is generated by eBay. The platform tries to control everything, but it does so clumsily. Even the simple act of contacting the seller about an item turned out to be almost impossible. I had to work around the system by pretending my request was about something else, because otherwise eBay would redirect me to information pages without letting me send a message. How can eBay deteriorate to this point day after day?

The problem would rather come from packlink ..The seller should go directly through the mondial relais site to choose the right pickup point..

OP1 year agoI hope he can enter the information manually, but I doubt it. I suppose Packlink automatically generates a shipping label from the data provided by eBay, making any changes impossible. Shipping it on his own would not only mean paying the shipping costs a second time, but also losing eBay tracking integration, which would compromise traceability and the guarantees for both him and me.

" Shipping it yourself would mean not only paying the shipping fees a second time, but also losing the tracking integration on eBay" = Not at all, whether you go through eBay or directly through Mondial Relay, you only pay the shipping once; then you just need to manually enter the tracking number on the eBay order to have the same traceability.
