print a label for tracked letter via eBay
Summary: 0_fil_du_temps* asks a question about printing shipping slips for tracked letters via eBay, mentioning technical problems on the shipping platform. koalagris advises using La Poste’s website to print the labels directly, suggesting contacting customer service for issues on eBay. 0_fil_du_temps* confirms that the option is available but notes how often it malfunctions and how convenient the service is. frelonverre asks why use eBay if La Poste offers the same service without any problems, to which 0_fil_du_temps* replies that this way they avoid the queue or La Poste’s restrictive opening hours.
Hello
I'm bringing up this question again, which was already asked by an eBayer who didn't get a satisfactory answer:
Has anyone managed to print a shipping slip/stamp for tracked mail via the eBay shipping platform?!
Because I've made sales with this shipping option. When I go to the shipping platform, tracked letter is clearly mentioned.
But systematically, when I enter the parcel dimensions, it only suggests Colissimo (and even if I say the parcel weighs 1 gram and is 10cm/10 for a thickness of 1cm)
eBay says everywhere that it's possible since 01/23/2025
Thanks

I'm in the same situation, and being able to print the label means you can drop the letter in a mailbox without waiting in line at the post office, or end up in front of a post office that's closed most of the time.
Thanks to anyone who can provide me with an answer.

the same thing is possible on La Poste’s website, no problem for you since your time is so precious

·1 year agoHello,
Reminder of the thread mentioned:
https://communaute.ebay.fr/t5/Aide-entre-membres/Lettre-suivie/m-p/2958358#M60700
No need to go to the post office to send a tracked letter: it is entirely possible to buy and print the sticker on the post office website, and then drop it in a mailbox.
As for the issue encountered on ebay in this area: check with customer service, no one on this forum has the answer...
Best regards

OP5 months agoHello, okay, tracked letter is available in the eBay shipping service. But it’s true that the eBay shipping platform is prone to regular malfunctions.
I recently had an issue with a tracking number that wasn’t "tracking."
But I find it convenient to get the shipping label directly rather than buying stickers. I don’t sell a huge amount.
