I bought this item ( Spider-Man #7 Spiderboy 1st Print June 2023 Marvel Slott Bagley ebay item 404244044312 ) on eBay on April 24 and have received nothing;
when I contact the seller, he tells me that eBay hasn’t paid him the money and so for the moment he isn’t sending the comic ... ( he has four buyers in this case )
what is this due to, what should I do or what should he do ? he tried to contact you but gets no response .

I'm sorry to read that you're having a bad experience on eBay. However, as pointed out by @koalagris the seller does not have to wait to receive the payment in their bank account before shipping.
When you make the payment as a buyer, it generates an order and the funds are sent directly to the seller's eBay account
As stated in our eBay payment services terms of use:
- When you receive notice that a buyer has paid for an item via the Payment Services, you must send or deliver the item in accordance with the agreed delivery method.

In addition, the funds may be held for various reasons: pending delivery / New Seller / Pending identity verification or bank account verification. etc
Basically, as a buyer, this doesn't really concern you. The seller accepted the terms of use and must therefore ship the item.
If they want to lift the hold, I suggest they contact customer service. If they don't send you the order, then you can open a case for item not received once the estimated delivery date has passed.

·3 years agoThat's the problem for some sellers on eBay, they don't receive their money, which is blocked by eBay for frankly unreasonable reasons
Especially since they have the ability to take money from sellers' accounts in case of a problem
So I understand some sellers who only send Colissimo once they have the money

The seller does NOT have to wait to receive payment from eBay before shipping; they must do it as soon as eBay informs them that you have paid... so they don’t understand how the site works at all... so you open a dispute in order to be refunded:
