The discussion highlights the frustrations and logistical complications encountered with Chronopost locker deliveries.
Hello,
I bought some manga, they arrived at the locker because I have the tracking, however I am not receiving the shop2shop email with the pickup codes.
after contacting the seller, the email address used is the one provided by ebay in members.ebay.com
I did receive the first email informing me that the package was on its way but since then nothing ...
on the Chronopost tracking I can clearly see that the package has arrived and that reminders are being sent:
Recipient informed by SMS or email
Message type: The reminder message made available at the pickup point has been received by the recipient.
Delivery point: xxxxxx
Pickup type: CHRONOPOST relay
Media used: E-mail
In the end the package is there ... but I can't pick it up ...
What should I do?

·2 years agoHello,
I'm in exactly the same situation: the parcel is in a Chronopost locker, and I haven't received this code.
Chronopost obviously won't provide me with this code.
Originally, the parcel was not supposed to be delivered to a Chronopost locker; I don't know why the delivery point changed.
The seller doesn't want to help and doesn't want to contact Chronopost.
I contacted support, who asked me to submit a return request since I still can't open a dispute.
So I'm waiting for this case to be resolved

·2 years agoBonjour @delaunth-0
"J'ai contacté le support qui m'a demandé de faire une demande de retour" = ??? on ne fait pas une demande de retour pour un objet non reçu, que pourriez-vous donc renvoyer ? 🤔
(des fois je me demande comment sont formés les employés ebay....)
Pas de solution à relayer à ce jour pour ce souci :

(c'est du seul ressort du site...)

·2 years agoHello @koalagris ,
Indeed very strange, but since it was the only solution I had at hand, I followed their advice.
Waiting on eBay on this one then

·2 years agoHaving never been able to receive my code, Pick up persisting in refusing to send it to me, the package was automatically returned to the sender, who received it eight days later. E-bay refunded me the full amount of my order, but the sender is left to cover the shipping costs. I now hope to be able to recommend the item from him again with a delivery method other than Chrono post. No explanation from E-bay’s teams regarding this failure.

Once bitten, twice shy ....... you know how it is, so off you go, banned from bidding
as for eBay's explanations, what were you expecting

·2 years agoHello.
Every now and then, we have a bit of fun on the forum. So here’s your request:
"I bought manga (s?), these ended up at the locker fine because I have the tracking, however I’m not getting the email from shop2shop with the pickup codes."
Translation:
.....Japanese drawings....automatic locker....electronic tracking....email from "shop2shop" ...electronic key.
In English, to lock= to lock and locker= cupboard, safe, locker. Like at the airport: no key, no pickup. No staff either: no point taking it out on ...the locker girl ??? There isn’t one...In practice, there is indeed someone there, but they can’t do anything for you: like at the airport, in principle you alone have the key and you’ve ...misplaced it somewhere ...in the invisible twists and turns of Lelec Tronic, that strange system without a map ...
I know, it’s not funny. And translating "j'ai le tracking" as "I’m pissed off" would be pretty tempting.
So what’s all this for, you might ask? Well...For nothing, probably, just to push back against the Anglo-thing gibberish, the abuse of acronyms and other calamities we’re locked into ...like your manga in a cupboard ...
Regards.

it's true, us dinosaurs have problems with the world as it becomes, but oh well, let them f... around with the monster they're creating
with a little thought it would be so simple

·2 years agoand why do you use Chronopost?
rray.si.9resim
·2 years agoThe sender chose Chronopost; as the recipient I didn't have a choice.
frelonverre
·2 years ago@rray.si.9resim
the buyer chooses to buy after reading the listing text, and on the listing the different carriers are marked, so the buyer chooses from the listings the carrier they want
when you buy in the US or the UK and you see gsp or multiple carriers you run away fast, same with hermes in Germany
but it's you who votes
rray.si.9resim
·2 years agoI only buy in France and Belgium and the sender doesn't always leave you the choice; moreover Chronopost is normally not a carrier to avoid, but I’m putting it on my blacklist now.
I have never had any problems with Colissimo, Mondial Relay or La Poste tracked letters: in ten years this is my first problem on delivery. It is really linked to Chronopost's use of Pickup Service, which refuses to send the code by SMS, and since eBay provides an encrypted email address, there is no way through. I contacted Pickup and am waiting for their reply.

·2 years ago@rray.si.9resim
my experience with chronopost is limited, shipping is more expensive than colissimos, incompetent staff who didn’t want to "bother themselves" with an address and asked me to meet them at the town hall in my village
the only advantage being the parcel dimensions ( a 150 m roll of bubble wrap, 1 m high ) beyond the 150 cm offered by colissimo and mondial relay
so for me no more chronopost and if the seller doesn’t change his mind I’ll buy elsewhere

·2 years agoHello, I currently have the same problem: I followed up with Chronopost, to whom I gave my email address, and they told me they would contact the relevant department to resend the code to my email address. I'm waiting, to be continued...
cheese_fr
·2 years ago- Ebay seems to be doing nothing and claims it’s a carrier issue.
- Chronopost claims it’s an Ebay issue.
In this matter, it’s clearly a bug between the Ebay platform and Chronopost, and the poor employees in both customer service teams are lost.
Ebay keeps saying that if I don’t receive the parcel within the deadline, I have to file a complaint and they’ll refund me… In fact, the good-faith seller is affected… And what’s going to happen, he’ll resend the parcel to me…
Resend = additional costs incurred by one side or the other.
From my point of view, this is unacceptable:
Longer delivery times and extra shipping costs to absorb because of a bug in the shared Ebay/Chronopost platform.
Are there any mediators who check this space? Is the problem being resolved? Have you found a sympathetic ear and a solution?

·2 years agoHello,
Same problem...
The great thing is that Chronopost recognizes my phone, makes the connection with my package, but stubbornly sticks to a "procedure" that forces them to communicate only with the provided email address... Which is encrypted by Ebay.
It's magical!
Seller contacted, waiting for a response, you never know, maybe he can intervene... (If possible, if someone knows the procedure, could they share it with the community? Thanks)
Ebay customer service contacted, processing time by an expert promised within 24 hours. To be continued...
Good luck to everyone...

Check your spam folder, otherwise contact Chronopost customer service ...

OP2 years agoGood evening,
nothing in the spam folder and Chronopost can't do anything because I can't prove anything, their only response is that the package will be returned to the sender ...

@rtf-online
(Not very sure) since it's Ebay that provides the encrypted email address.
Contact Ebay customer service and see if they can’t open it or forward the email to you, since it’s on one of their servers.
Best regards
