WORLDWIDE MONDIAL RELAY DELIVERY
Summary: *maflosyl* shares a negative experience with Mondial Relay, highlighting problems with delays, missing pickup points, and ineffective insurance. frelonverre replies that they have no problems by using Mondial Relay’s website directly. Other participants discuss alternatives, comparing Mondial Relay with La Poste, raising similar concerns about package tracking and delivery times. papounet0662 asks a question about customer data collection on eBay, which frelonverre answers by sharing their method for requesting the necessary information.
Hello everyone.
If you're a seller, stay away from Mondial Relay. With them, I keep running into one disappointment after another. Delays in deliveries, relay points that don't exist anymore or never did, and so parcels end up wandering around and are delivered somewhere else by force, without any request or warning to the recipient, and the best of the best; insurance that is useless.
Even with photos to back it up, in the event of parcel damage you will receive no compensation if the recipient did not refuse the parcel. Which means the parcel has to arrive completely **bleep**; all other cases are not taken into account.
For those who understand ....

well, I personally haven't had any problems with them for years now (which hasn't always been the case), but my parcels are sent directly, I don't benefit from the negotiated rates offered by the sites, I ship through the Mondial Relay site, I don't import my sales there
so I'll keep using MR

OP2 years agoBah, I don't think that's the problem. Getting the negotiated rates for ebay or the standard rate for individuals in general doesn't change the service offered.
Or else that would mean Mondial Relay only takes care of parcels for individuals!
Which is even more damaging for their image.

·2 years agoHello,
When buyers will have understood that in the contact details you should put your last name, first name and the address of the desired pickup point, there will always be PR problems
The post office is no better delays, lost parcels, no tracking

·2 years ago@jacqueline the post office no tracking since when? colissimo delivered in 48 hours regards
frelonverre
·2 years agohello @Anonymous
no tracking for tracked letters and for Colissimo parcels with signature, not all of them are signed for by the recipient and 48 h is more like 2 business days
have a good day

·2 years agoHello Jean, the Colissimo parcels
without signature, green label, have a tracking number
frelonverre
·2 years agoyes Jack but it’s the tracked letters that aren’t, at least the undelivered ones and the colissimos under 5 kg so green label, not the mandatory orange one above 5 kg or for registered mail, which in the case of this overweighting ends up
being like the green one ( not registered ) dropped off more or less at random ( apartment building with parcels that won’t fit in the mailbox )
you know, not everything is administratively rosy ( cf the southeast where mail problems are frequent )
at MR you send it to a pickup point and the parcel is only handed over to the recipient
