New Delivery Fee Interface

Is it just me, or was there really a change in the shipping fees tool for each listing (creation or editing)?
No more preferred rates that we could change, edit, or delete in just a few clicks and, above all, directly on the listing.
Now I’m forced to click a drop-down menu "Delivery Conditions" and click on "Edit" to access the shipping rates... And the "Preferred Option" tab has also disappeared: now you have to deal with deletions and/or creations while keeping an eye on the preferred order. On top of that, you have to give a "Condition Name"... All these new measures once again make putting items up for sale and the smoothness of this site, which was so well designed at the start, more complicated...
For every new change on the site, the designers should always remember the famous saying: "The perfect is the enemy of the good"!!!

·3 weeks agoUnfortunately this isn't really new, but it does, in fact, make listing items enormously more complicated. You have to be very careful if you want to change a shipping rate, because by accident you can change your shipping rate for the selected listing AND UNFORTUNATELY all the other listings linked to the one you're editing, without necessarily even realizing it! It's true, selling on Ebay is becoming a nightmare... For 1 item, I need about 1 hour to write the listing if the item isn't similar to others. Setting the shipping fees + the countries you accept or not is really a nightmare. Little by little, Ebay is breaking this wonderful tool. But it's not the only site. 1 other big Belgian site (especially for stamps) has changed everything and is heavily taking money from buyers!

what you're mentioning has nothing to do with the problem encountered by @lechatcarre who suddenly had a change in the listing form.
As already said, having run into this issue as well, it is surely due to the sales conditions manager that must have been activated on their account.
If you're having that much trouble listing, you should make another post to bring them up.
There will surely be people who can give you advice.

·2 weeks agoI have been selling there since 2004 and cannot accept your judgment, which is easy, gratuitous and helps no one. The problem mentioned does exist and your solution does nothing to fix it. I actually believe you did not understand what I was saying. Errare humanum est.

I had the same issue about 1 month ago. The problem came from the sales conditions manager, which had been activated... (to begin with, I don't use it at all).
See if the problem is the same for you. Once it was deactivated, everything went back to normal.

After fumbling around to find the deactivation of the terms and conditions manager (which I had never activated!), everything seems to be back in order!
Thanks again, and let’s hope the IT folks & administrators of this site stop messing with it constantly under the guise of “improving” it, because a site that tries too hard is a site that risks seeing its loyal users run off elsewhere! You have been warned...
