Late shipping rate for sellers that increases

One participant mentions errors in eBay listings, and guenzone brings up losing trusted seller status because of these same issues. audio-brocante-design complains about the restrictions on changing shipping times, and a user explains how to do it. leongermain shares frustrations as a buyer with extended delivery times.
Hello everyone,
Surprise, in the seller status, sometimes the late shipment rate increases for no reason even though the shipment is sent very quickly and on time, yet the tracking number is correctly entered.
With La Poste, it’s becoming more and more complicated to know:
When tracking through La Poste’s website (https://www.laposte.fr/outils/suivre-vos-envois) the tracking number doesn’t exist or the tracking is only partial, shipping times explode (sometimes 10 to 11 days instead of three), I contacted Ebay, but they don’t make a distinction between shipping and delivery (normally not the seller’s responsibility), they just increase the late shipment rate.
There you have it, fellow sellers (La Poste is no longer doing its job and Ebay is stubborn!!)
Best regards

·1 year agowhat would you say if, as a buyer, my orders arrived with a minimum lead time of 10 days
there is systematically a problem with EBAY or DHL Germany yet 30 euros for delivery of a car stereo is no gift !!
i'm waiting for my last package after EBAY it's over for me

1 day or nothing !!!!
and their **bleep** percentage just keeps going down..... they're treating us like robots!!!!!

you say: "I’d like to set two days and it’s impossible!!!!!"
How exactly do you proceed exactly and at what point do you have a problem changing the shipping time frame?

so why is it possible to take a week to address these inconveniences

@audio-brocante-design
For the change:
Seller Hub / listings tab / select the listings / Modify the selection.
On the new page:
Select the listings / (open the dropdown menu) Bulk edit multiple listings at the same time / (open) Shipping delay (this ranges from: Same business day to 40 days) / apply and submit.
best regards

·2 years agoHello everyone ,
I just lost my top reliable seller status solely because of delivery delays, which have increased in an incredible way since the change in eBay rules, fake tracking numbers with dates that don’t correspond to anything ... Three messages sent to customer service with no response, indifference, contempt? Or is it just AI that has taken over? Welcome to the new world, friends!

·2 years agoHello @motobec6
One of your mentions on your listings is contrary to the Terms of Use (cf eBay customer guarantee terms).
"Tracked letter €3.08 (not covered, at your own risk.) or registered R1: €6.13 (more secure with maximum coverage up to €16) "
= it is YOU ALONE who take the risk of not being compensated (at all or not enough) by the post office in the event of a problem, not the buyer, who would have to be refunded in full.
From there, it is up to you to offer on your listings only the shipping method(s) that will allow you not to be out of pocket in the event of loss or damage...
Best regards

well then, increase your shipping times
motobec6
OP2 years agoThanks for the info, indeed but by increasing the shipping times, which are currently 4 days, this can impact sales; besides, Ebay considers that beyond 3 days it becomes, I quote: excessive, unusual
frelonverre
·2 years ago@motobec6
that's why ebay allows figure pre-orders of one month
put a week, and you'll be covered

frelonverre
·1 year ago@jbpou76
so don't use packlink and enter the tracking numbers manually
it's this crappy interface that doesn't send the info in time
