for insurance, you’ll need to check with the carrier you chose;
As for the refund, it’s up to you to process it.

To obtain compensation from a carrier, there must be external damage to the package, thus allowing the buyer to establish a damage report upon delivery.
Otherwise, the seller remains responsible for the proper delivery of the ordered item.
