Car purchase on eBay at auction
Summary: occaz_etoile shares his positive car-buying experience, especially with Mercedes W123s and W114s, through auctions on EBAY. He points out that these transactions always went well with honest sellers and expresses regret that this type of sale is less common today.
Hello, a few years ago, I bought a Mercedes W123 / W114 on EBAY almost every month.
The last one was in Rocamadour, a 1964 W114, even though I live in Oise.
Everything always went well. I would leave by train and come back with the car.
I never had any scams. The sellers were very fair.
Too bad this type of sale is no longer really common on the EBAY site.
Ebay has been a source of happiness for me with the auction system.
