Can the eBay platform remove an item sold Already 2 items not removed... or avoid listing the same item twice... it's a bit awkward for buyers. I've already had several mishaps with the platform, but this one takes the cake!!

eBay doesn't buy anything and doesn't sell anything...
The site rents out spaces for sellers' listings, and they alone are responsible for their content...
So, if sellers don't take care to remove a duplicate item from sale, for example:.. it's simply at their own risk.
It is true, however, that it is unpleasant for a buyer to be refunded for an item they chose and cannot get because it is unavailable... Ratings are there to reflect how someone feels about a failed transaction.
On the other hand, it is difficult for a site to know whether a seller has one or several identical items that they can list for sale. It is not its job to tidy up its sellers' stock.

OP8 months agoHello, yes, I solved the problem myself because yes I track my sales and thankfully because the glitches have been many for some time now, like delivery location errors, delivery methods, duplicate listings and the list goes on, so this was the final straw, as they say, but thankfully the buyers are nice.
