I’m here to explain my troubles with Ebay.

On February 13, 2024

I create my pro account, after a bit of research to understand the ins and outs of selling on Ebay, I received a phone call and then an email to answer various questions and give me a link for the free store promotion from someone on the New Sellers support team.

On February 29, 2024

I take the plunge and subscribe to a basic store.
I receive an email telling me about the promotions, namely free selling fees for 100 days and a free store for 6 months, which I activate via the link in the email.

I prepare my 192 listings.

On March 01, 2024

I post my 192 listings with 0 € in fees

Everything is going fine while I get my items known, but no sales.

On March 06, 2024

An email from eBay informs me that my account has been permanently suspended ......😨

I ask to be called back, I explain my case, and my account is reactivated without giving me the reasons for its suspension.

That’s where my troubles begin.

My listings had disappeared, my store no longer existed.
After another call, I find them in the ended and unsold items hub.

I select them all, the 192 listings, and relist them, and then of course disaster strikes: I’m asked for €69.12 in fees (192 x 0.36). I don’t publish and contact customer service yet again, who understands nothing and sends me back to the store setup help service.

On March 14, 2024
I create the store a second time and find my store again as before with the colors, etc., etc.

So I publish the 192 listings, 5 minutes later, after checking whether it’s free, which it is, so I publish with 0 € in fees.
I think, okay, it’s settled, I’m going to be able to sell.
On March 15, 2024
I receive an email informing me that I have an invoice of €17.12 to pay on March 17, 2024

New contact with customer service to explain my situation once again.
I pay for the store and I have 35 listings with insertion fees because I exceed 300 listings!!!!!😡

It’s a nightmare, everyone involved understands but can do nothing.

On March 16, 2024

A call from customer service informs me that they are going to cancel my upcoming €17.12 invoice and that they are generously giving me the free store month until April 16, 2024.

But no more 6 months of free store.

Conclusion:

I subscribed to an offer at Ebay thanks to the free offer because I’m starting my business; for an unknown reason my account was arbitrarily suspended, I lost the initial free offer, store and fees.
I can no longer benefit from the offers because I have already subscribed.

I am the victim of some kind of fraud or scam by ebay.😡

I reserve the right to make a report on signal conso.

A first message had indeed been automatically flagged as spam, and so it did not appear. Hence the impression of “deletion”.

Good evening felin12,

quite simply because I have a choice of 17 colors and it's complicated, that means a long drop-down list and since I haven't made any object to photograph them I would have 16 color squares.

By doing it this way, I reduce the drop-down list.

Why not make a multi-variation listing with a display model and your color options for the buyer to choose from.
