Summary: legrenier08 expresses his frustration after refunding an unsatisfied buyer for the step stool he sold, even though the item was returned unopened. He explains that he received several insulting emails from the buyer and wonders why eBay does not protect sellers from malicious buyers, considering stopping selling on the site. frelonverre advises him to forget the incident and focus on the fact that protection on eBay is mainly intended for buyers.
hello, I'm selling a stepladder. According to the buyer, it doesn't suit them... Foolishly, I refund the shipping costs included. And there you go, I get a negative review.. Not in line with their expectations... The stepladder comes back and then the postman tells me: this item is returned but clearly it hasn't been unwrapped.. Indeed, I unwrap it and I find all my packing methods with the same packaging flaws... I write to the buyer asking if they're making fun of me, and then I receive 4 insulting emails... Stop, I won't play this game... I write, I call eBay and receive an email confirming that the buyer is expressing their feelings..... Where is the protection for sellers.... I'm going to stop these sales because this site in no way protects sellers against malicious buyers... Thank you

on the other hand, what's the point of asking him if he doesn't give a damn about you
from the start you were screwed, you should have forgotten about it, or even refunded him the return shipping
the protection is for buyers on ebay
