store problem
Summary: ap.bon-plan is having difficulties with their eBay store, having made the mistake of listing items on eBay.fr instead of eBay.com, resulting in unwanted fees. *miss-tigri* explains that the fees are due to a professional seller status and advises contacting customer service. lingma85 provides additional details, saying that canceling the subscription could lead to the deletion of existing listings, while emphasizing the importance of choosing the right platform based on international sales goals. ap.bon-plan is considering switching to eBay.fr to solve the problem.
hello I created a shop with ebay.com and I posted items on ebay.fr without checking, 0.36 cents per item, not cool already. I realized it later and I log in to Ebay.com and see that there I’m posting for free. My items posted on ebay.fr are there, but impossible to see whether there are views or anything else. I wanted to change my subscription but on ebay.fr they told me that my shop is on an ebay .com. thank you for helping me

·2 years agoHello @ap.bon-plan
Except by cancelling the "store" subscriptions that don’t suit you... which would cancel the listings... there’s not much else to do...
The fees that are charged will have to be paid anyway... and ebay won’t "dump" the listings from ebay.fr onto your eBay.com store.
If you have items in "duplicate", you can put them in the store if you still have room.....
As for the views of items posted on ebay.fr (so outside the store)... they will only be seen abroad if you have set international shipping fees and also if a potential buyer searches for an equivalent item and therefore enters the keyword corresponding to your item...
Best regards
PS
To avoid chaos between ebay.com and ebay.fr... use a different browser for each account,

OP2 years agohello thank you for your response, so if I understand correctly I need to cancel my ebay.com store subscription to switch it to Ebay.fr

·2 years agore.. @ap.bon-plan
If you cancel your subscription on ebay.com... the listings will be removed...
If you take out a subscription on ebay.fr... the listings already online will remain outside the shop and their fees will not be refunded...
The listings that are on the ebay.com shop will have to be placed on the ebay.fr shop, for which you will pay a new subscription ....
It’s up to you to see what is the most practical depending on your activity... (eBay.com naturally covering more foreign countries than eBay.fr, even if you have a shop said to be international..)
Reread everything concerning international selling and focus on the main points of each site to determine what suits you.. This is your job as a seller, not that of the forum respondents...

You have 95 items visible on eBay .fr ..
