Other participants, such as francexpressdeal and lingma85, share similar experiences and suggest checking account settings, such as legal information and geographic location, or continuing to keep following up with eBay customer support.
Hello,
I’ve been having an issue for 5 days now that still hasn’t been resolved so far. When I want to list an item, I get this error message: " An error occurred. The selling tool is not working at the moment. Please try again later". Are you getting it too? My shop is doing pretty well and in the meantime I’ve had sales. I called eBay, who made me understand that it was a general issue, but I didn’t believe the guy because after several attempts I really get the impression he said that just to get rid of me.
What should I do to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance

·3 years agoHello
Could this be a limitation on the number of items listed for sale?
Other than contacting customer service again, I’m afraid there isn’t much to do....

Your account may not have any issues....BUT... what could be causing them ------------>
- lack of legal information about the seller on each listing... all the details required by law are missing on each listing, which can prejudice buyers...
- variable setting of the geographic location of the items that are wandering between Sarguemine, Mulhouse, even Berlin... (see your bag, watch, etc. listings) -
This registration as a pro does in fact require a bit of attention... this may be what is causing your listings to be blocked... This is only my guess, but these facts have already prejudiced many sellers whose details were as nebulous as the clouds.
Best regards

OP3 years agoI’ve done all of that of course, but nothing works. I even tried it on another computer, same thing. This has been going on for a week and I don’t know what to do anymore. eBay support keeps telling me they’re escalating the issue, but a week is huge — I’ve got quite a few items to list.

" a week is huge "
For a bug fix, that's a minimum for eBay support ... Some can take months to be resolved, or even not get resolved at all 😞
As for your issue, I run into it sometimes too, but it eventually disappears quickly.
As @*miss-tigri* told you, there's nothing else to do but contact customer service again if it persists for you (Hello Miss and have a nice day 🙂 )
