Combined shipping
Summary: zetabeam expresses frustration with eBay's "ask seller for total" feature, which consistently fails, forcing them to contact sellers directly for combined shipping on comic books. They argue that shipping costs become exorbitantly high otherwise, suggesting eBay should address this issue. koalagris indicates that the concern was previously posted in French forums and suggests contacting customer service.
Each time, each time! I wan't to click on "ask seller for total" I end up on a page that says "it's not possible to ask total" because of blablabla or some other lame explanation.
Now, I order mostly comic books. The weight of a comic book is 1.9 ounces.
Question: I am willing to pay 20 something dollars of shipping for each 3$ dollar book I buy?
100$for 5 books? 200$ for 10 books?
I don't think so.
So I think it's time Ebay does something about this "bug" in the system because each time, we have to contact the seller and convice/force him to do a custom listing just for us. It would be much simpler if the "ask total" button did what it was designed to do.

If no other member wanted to chime in on your original post (which is not a question but an observation), what's the point of starting a new thread?
if you want to contact the site = customer service is at the bottom right in the "help" section
