Limited business account + blocking of my money
Summary: vtesfrance describes a problem with eBay where, after a long absence due to an unexpected hospitalization and difficult personal circumstances, their professional account was restricted, preventing them from listing items for sale. In addition, their money was frozen by eBay, creating financial difficulties. They express frustration at the lack of communication with a human manager at eBay and are considering legal action to resolve the situation, highlighting their significant financial contribution to the platform over the past five years. francexpressdeal provides a link to an eBay resource in an attempt to speak to someone by phone.
Hello. I'm starting this thread to find out whether other professionals have had this kind of trouble with Ebay.
I've been a professional seller for over 5 years (I pay them €179 a month for their shop), everything was going very well until my long and unexpected hospitalization. There wasn't time to close the shop in this kind of situation....And then a death of someone close in quick succession. In short, my shop kept running without me for 4 months. When I came back, tons of disputes and negative reviews, but that's not the problem.
I've been back for 2 weeks and now ebay is limiting my shop, I can't list anything for sale anymore. Knowing that they removed everything, so I have to relist 7000 listings!
I managed to send some items to auction and bam, they block my money, which won't be available until the end of March. Absolutely ridiculous!
Obviously, when you contact them, bots answer us, and badly. They don't give a damn that we have children to feed or a mortgage to pay
Just the feeling of being treated like a **bleep** . Roughly speaking, I've given them €10,700 in shop fees over the past 5 years, not counting the extra selling fees.
I'm seriously thinking about taking legal action, they're completely screwing me over and I think that as professionals, we have rights, just being able to talk to someone on the phone and not an useless bot

"I'm starting this topic to find out whether other professionals have had this kind of issue with Ebay."
Given the problem encountered, there's very little chance that's the case.
