Hello everyone, I’m taking the liberty of posting this message as a professional seller on eBay, because our situation is becoming very worrying. For 2 months now, our account has been restricted without any concrete justification. We can still sell, but all of our funds – more than €13,000 – are frozen on the platform, with no announced date for them to be released. The only reason mentioned at the start was an eBay request to contact certain buyers who had received their order in a green letter, in order to confirm receipt. These shipments account for not even 5% of our sales, or less than €10 in total, and we did carry out this step as requested. For more than three weeks now, eBay no longer responds to any of our messages. When we call the complaints department, we end up with people who do not give us any clear answers, neither about the real reason for the block nor about any possible date for resolution. So I’m sharing this experience here to see whether other professional sellers have faced a similar situation. Did you manage to unblock your account? What was the process and how long did it take?
