the buyer doesn't look for their package and gets a refund
Summary: Koursk shared a frustrating situation where a customer received a refund for a parcel of €300 worth of stamps, even after La Poste found the parcel. Despite efforts to communicate with the customer and eBay, Koursk lost €30 in commission fees and is looking for solutions to resolve the issue, but has not yet received a response from eBay.
hello
someone bought €300 worth of stamps from me.
At first, La Poste couldn't find the registered parcel r3, so the customer opened a dispute and eBay initiated the refund on 05 Dec 2024 at 12:39. At 2:00 p.m., the same day, La Poste called me to say that they had found the parcel and that the customer could come by. I immediately called the customer, who told me she would go pick up the parcel at the post office at 6:00 p.m. I called La Poste to let them know. So I thought the customer had picked up her parcel, but on Saturday 07.12 she wrote to me that she "still hasn't received the order". On 09.12 I called La Poste, who explained to me that the customer had never come to pick up the parcel.. On the evening of 09.12 I wrote to the customer to ask why she hadn't picked up the parcel but no reply. This is very unfair because eBay made me refund the money and added its commission, so for now I've lost €30 to pay eBay's commission even though the parcel is indeed available for the customer (it says so on the La Poste website)
I filed a complaint this morning with eBay but no response, I get the impression that they don't care since they have already taken their commission.
Does anyone have a solution? Thanks
